Provider network by First Health Aetna PPO Network. To locate a provider visit https://providerlocator.firsthealth.com/LocateProvider/SelectNetworkType Select “First Health” as the network and then select provider type and enter zip code. In left margin, refine search by selecting type of doctor.
*If you’re looking for a specific provider and don’t see them, they may still be in-network and available for your care, but you’ll need to call their office to confirm.
HELPS Retirees Act Benefits
The Healthcare Enhancement for Local Public Safety is federal legislation that allows first responders/public safety officers the ability to use up to $3,000 per annum from their qualified government retirement plan or deferred compensation account, on a pre-tax basis, to pay for healthcare premiums. In order for you to get the pre-tax benefit, the money must be paid directly from your pension fund or 457 deferred compensation account directly to the insurance provider. Contact your pension fund or deferred comp plan for application. Call us for more information.
